Spiritual Orientation Phenomenon

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. - 1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV.
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. - 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NKJV.
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” - John 8:31-32 NKJV.
Do you have “Spatial Orientation Phenomenon?” Bojana Danilovic from Serbia is one of the very few known to have this odd condition where everything appears to them upside down from the rest of us. Bojana is 29-years-old living in Serbia and is a college graduate with a degree in economics. Nothing is wrong with her intelligence or her eyes, it is just that her brain interprets the data from her eyes upside down. She has lived with this all of her life and has been backwards about nearly everything. She was born feet first, crawled at first going backwards, the same when she first began to walk, and she wrote backwards too. She watches a TV that is turned upside down, turns her mobile phone upside down, turns her computer monitor and keyboard upside down and her newspaper upside down. Spatial Orientation Phenomenon is a very rare condition that only a very few in all of history have had, at least that have been documented. I have discovered another condition that is not so rare and the truth is that maybe a few billion people suffer from it. What is this condition? I have named it “Spiritual Orientation Phenomenon.” Those with this condition (SpOP) see spiritual things backwards and are able to more easily believe a lie than they are able to believe the spiritual truth. People with SpOP often suffer from the delusion that everyone goes to Heaven or that there are multiple ways or paths that one can take to arrive in Heaven. The Bible is very clear that there is only one way to Heaven and that is through Jesus as He tells us in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Other often suffered spiritual delusions with SpOP are the belief that there is no God, and that if you do more good things than bad things you will go to Heaven. There are likely additional SpOP delusions, but all have in common rejection of the spiritual truths as revealed in the Bible.
The Bible identifies a person with Spiritual Orientation Phenomenon (SpOP) as someone who is a “natural man” who has not been “born again (John 3:3).” All those suffering from SpOP have been “blinded” by the “god of this age (the devil)” and will perish eternally if they continue in their state of delusion. The cure for SpOP consists of confronting spiritually delusional people with the truth because the truth will set them free (John 8:32). In addition, sharing your own personal testimony of how God freed you through Jesus can be helpful as we are told in Revelation 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony….” In order to reach the spiritually deluded with the truth, we must remain spiritually strong ourselves. “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 1:20-21).” By staying spiritually strong ourselves, we will then be able to help those suffering from SpOP, pulling them from the fire of eternal death. “And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh (Jude 1:22-23).” We know the truth that someday all will face judgment so as the apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:11a, “Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men….”
