LOL

Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.” HE WHO SITS IN THE HEAVENS SHALL LAUGH; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.” - Psalm 2:1-6 NKJV.
Several people driving home from Las Vegas, Nevada to Primm, Nevada viewed a strange cloud in the sky. The cloud spelled out the letters “LOL” which if you have been on the Internet using chat or been texting for very long, you know what it means. LOL is short in text shorthand for “Laughing Out Loud.” Many people were stuck in traffic the day the cloud appeared as they traveled the 44-mile commute from Las Vegas to Primm. One person posted that it had taken them two hours to make the drive on that day. A man with the Reddit user name of “Waymoe” posted the photo on the social media site. Waymoe posted this “Stuck in terrible traffic and look up to see this, it’s like the sky is laughing at us.” After the photo had been seen by thousands Waymoe posted, “Just woke up to see this on the front page! I hope clouds are jerks to me more often.” (Orange 07.09.14; Mirror.co.uk 07.08.14)
Did God place the LOL in the sky? Good question. Would God have been able to arrange clouds in the sky to spell out letters? Of course, God could do that if He wanted to. God can do whatever He wants to do. I think it would be great if God were to begin to send us text messages in the sky through clouds. Suppose you are driving along thinking about how you are going win millions in the lottery and God spells out with clouds NGH, which is short for “Not Gonna Happen.” You would then know not to waste your time or money buying that lottery ticket! Or, how about you are praying for the traffic ahead of you to part like the Red Sea did for Moses and God spells out in the clouds NIMY which is short for “Never In A Million Years.” Or, you are praying as you drive along and confess some of your sins to Him and suddenly in the sky appear the letters YS which are short for “You Stinker.” Then, in the sky appears this long string of letters YMYBNYCSII which are short for “You Made Your Bed Now You Can Sleep In It.”
It would be nice if God communicated with us by text messages in the sky, wouldn’t it? However, the Bible tells us this in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” But some day if we know Jesus as our Savior, and we are present with the Lord, everything will become clear as we are told in 1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV, “For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.”
