Please pray that this week God opens the door to an enormous opportunity for us to help missions go forward in a big way. God knows our hearts and if He wants to use us, we are ready. Pray that the obstacles be removed. The devil does not want this to happen.

Dear Family and Friends,

Here's the latest on our granddaughter, Morgan, after her successful brain surgery on the 13th. There is no cure for Morgan's cancer, and the brain tumor that was removed is the type that will keep coming back over and over. They could take her to Dallas to take part in open studies, new trials, but there are too many unknown dangers and side effects. They have decided to put her back on chemo - a different oral chemo that she will take every day for 3 weeks and then one week off. That should keep the other 3 tumors stable for however long. Of course, there are side effects to that also. She will most likely lose all her hair, her blood counts will probably be low where she will have to have blood transfusions, tingling ofthe nerves, there's always a chance of liver or kidney failure, she could get another type of cancer, leukemia, etc. There is another little girl about her age that has the same type of cancer there at the OU Medical Center who has been on this same treatment for 2 years now. So there is a chance we could still have her with us for that much longer. Or a chance that another tumor could appear at any time. This last one grew from the size of a quarter to a lemon in less than 2 weeks.

Her school will be having a fund raiser for her soon, and they can use that money to take the family on a vacation in June. She wants to go to the beach so they're hoping to go to Padre Island.

This has been a very hard, emotional and trying time for all of us, especially her mom. She is still keeping faith and praying for a cure. They won't start the treatments until after Morgan's 8th birthday which is May 13th (Mother's Day). I am praying for as much time as possible to have with my little Princess Morgan. This week we played long distance hide n seek over the phone again and hid in our castles, lol. She still brings so much joy to all around her. The faith of a child is unbelievable!

I just ask for continued prayers for Morgan. The Lord has blessed us so far and we trust He will continue to do so.

On another matter, myaunt passed away yesterday morning. My mom's 90 yr. old sister who had been sick for a long time in Chicago. It wasn't unexpected but still very upsetting. I just ask for prayers for the immediate family.

I will try to keep in touch. I'm sorry I haven't been able to write any sooner. Me and Al will be leaving for a vacation next week to try to get away and relax and get prepared for what life has for us next!

I need prayer support desperatly. I allowed a soul tie into my heart, and life before my divorce. I divorced my husband 6years ago due to abuse, which included even husbands family, and his brother who raped me 20+years ago. We had been married 24 years when i left. Before the divorce I fell very deep in love, and sin with another man. I felt like I deserved it after all the abuse issues, and now I was finally loved, happy, and safe. Well sin can't make up for sin no matter how sad we get. After a couple years I seen red flags, and this "perfect" man decided "relationships are too much work". I also seen this man needs the attention of many women. I also was burdened by the Lord to return to my husband(he had made awesome changes)so I did (not cause I loved him but to obey the Lord). Even after all this I still love/desire, and miss this other man. I struggle everyday, and some nights I want to go to sleep, and not wake up. I need to completely let go of this other man rid my heart,and thoughts of all feelings/desires for him. I need to fall in love with my husband, and to get stronger than ever before in God's will please pray for me. God Bless, and Thankyou

I am asking for prayers for my sister Penny she just found out she has thyroid cancer and she is still fighting for custody of her children. Please pray for her and for me. I would be so lost with out her. Thank you Lora

Please pray for my friend Mary. She has had three major surgeries and been in the hospital for 2 1/2 months. She just had a stroke and they can not give her any meds for it because she is in such bad condition. She needs a miracle.

Please pray for my husband Dave. He has been out of work for 3 years and needs a job. Our savings have run out and bills are piling up. My salary only pays the mortgage and we have more bills than that.

My Aunt is 92 years old. She is in fairly good health but she needs new blood vessels in her legs - she has constant pain and the surgical attempts at surgery have failed twice because she is so anxious over the procedures they cannot get her heart and blood pressure to stabilize. They are going to try again this morning for open surgery. Please pray that God's hands will be on the surgeon's and they will successfully be able to do this. She will have the other leg operated on in six weeks. Her name is Mary. Thank you for your prayers.

My brother-in-law, Tom Smith is in stage4 chondrocarsoma. He also has congestive heart failure. please pray for his healing. He is a new christian, but has lots of faith. My sister, Vicki is his caretaker and has Hospice help, but it is very emotionally and physically draining for her. I am asking for prayer for her also.
