As I was searching the internet I came across this site. I began reading the testomonies and answers to prayers and see our Lord Jesus has been blessing you. I am coming to you because I am too ashamed to go to my own church. I had been an active deacon from 1998 - 2000 and most everyone knows me. They know me by my smile. I love my church but feel like I would be letting them down if I came to them with my troubles. I am married for almost 22 years but the last 14 my wife and I have not be very close. She has rejected me because she was made aware of my cheating on her in the beginning of our relationship and has not forgiven me. I have tried many ways to correct this problem but have had no success. We are friendly but have no physical contact. I request your prayers. Thanks
Update on our 11 year old gradson's condition.
Thank you to all who have prayed. Last night was a bad night. Dylan was in a lot of pain and couldn't get comfortable. His leg started falling off the bed,so at 3 00 am his mother who is staying with him had to help him get it back on. However, the p.t's got him walking out of his room. With his walker.Very unsteadily, but he made it out of his room past the sailboat. His right leg he says feels pretty good, but his left one still not so good. For him to walk, he has to look down at it as he doesn't know where in space it is. He got his catheter out today and his bladder and bowel function seem to be normal. Continue to praise God for these positive steps and for continued support for his parents, older brother and 3 yr old sister who are staying with various friends.
I would like to ask for prayers for Greg and his mom Sue and their family along with other members of our service people as they strive to keep our country safe. Greg's ship is being deployed to inspect ships from N Korea. They are both worried about what will happen. But we all know that with God's help he will return safely home. So please continue to pray for our troops wherever they are stationed and that we are all in God's will in what we choose daily.
Thanks and may God bless you in Jesus' name.
Update - Gail Prather. We visited with Gail yesterday and she is still in intensive care. However, she is better. They have taken the tubes out of her chest including her lungs, took her off of pain medication yesterday, and she is talking. She is much improved from a week ago but still has a long way to go.
Thank you for your prayers and faithfulness!!
Please pray for a friend who has prostat cancer and is having a hard time with the radiation treatments.
Our 11 year old grandson was born with spina bifda and surgery at that time was successful. Now his growth has resulted in a tethered spinal cord which is affecting his walking. Surgery was on Tuesday Oct. 17 and while successful was a bit more involved due to the discovery of a cyst. He is losing feeling in his legs but can still move them. This appears to be normal as the spinal cord is in shock. He took two steps last night but was very wobbly.
We covet your prayers for the following that:
1 - Dylan's spirit remains positive because as an 11 year old he doesn't understand "Why is this happening to me?"
2 - His bladder and bowel functions return to normal as these are usually the first to disappear.
3 - Feeling returns to his legs.
4 - His parents' (and grandparents') spirits as we all Endeavour to keep a positive demeanor when we visit with him.
5 - The process of learning to walk again will be quick.
6 - His pain subsides as he is at the maximum dose of morphine already. Fortunately, he has a very high tolerance to pain.
Thank you and "to God be the glory" whatever the outcome.
My daughters friend Marion recently learned she has tumors in her brain. After a biopsy it was decided she required surgery right away. Please pray for Marion's health and recovery. I don't know if Marion is saved, please pray that she will come to know the Lord through this experience. Thank you so much.
Please continue to pray for Gail Prather who was severely injured when cattle stampeded over her. She has been in intensive care since last Thursday. She has colaspsed lungs, broken ribs, lacerated liver with torn artery and other injuries. She was able to speak but has not spoken in several days.
Please pray for me and for my wife, that God will show us what is right and guide us and our marriage. We need all the help coming from God to be able to see the real love in eachother as a married couple and understand what's important to have a loving and fruitfull marriage.
My wife needs friends, I ask you please pray for her to meet the right friends instead of opening up to just another male friend she meets wherever, guys with a hidden agenda. I would like to understand her that accepting presents from and giving the so called friends (with loads of money) attention creates the space where satan has a chance to destroy our marriage. I would like to ask you to pray for her to open up her heart emotionally to me in order for us to talk with eachother without feeling stressed out and annoyed.
Also....she is very into Astrology, it would be fabulous to take that interest away from her. We met through the same church and I expected a totally different level of faith. Pray for her to be blessed with all the faith she needs to start praying with me again and having the faith that God answers all prayers. This Saturday we are going to a marriage counselor and I do hope that she as well as I will learn from it where t o go and what to do and look in the mirror seeing our flaws in regards being a couple communicating with eachother and living the life in a world where we have to stick to eachother to keep out anger, jealousy and everything else what's not from God. I'm studying psychology and looking forward to get into counseling/coaching working with athletes, artists and other brothers and sisters who need support and guidance to become happy and fruitful children of Heavenly Father. Helping myself and them to give back talents to God which are given by God. Doing the work and study He wants me to do, that's what I want to do. people used to give me the name "the preacher", all what I do let it be work/school built on the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever on earth. Let me work for Him, pray for me that I will serve Him to become whole and the happy man He wants me to be. I thank you all, and thank God in the name of His son Jesus Christ, Amen.
Ed, please pray that God would give me courage wisdom and strength to overcome.
Thank you, we love you all very much!
