I need prayer badly Since my Husband died a few years ago I have been unable to get on my feet. I will be able to get on my feet now if the people I owe will gave me a little time to earn the money. Only God can soften there hearts. I will lose my electric and 80% of everything I own. I also need confidence in myself Please pray for me.

This is an update on Morgan. I am enclosing the email from her grandma.


How sweet and touching! It is such a blessing to have so many people praying for Morgan!!!! I can't remember the last news I told you about her, so I may be repeating myself.

Three weeks ago, after having another Phase II chemo treatment and then having another MRI, it showed that 2 of the 4 tumors in her brain have shrunk!!!! Not by much, but some, and it gave her mom and all the family a LOT more hope that maybe, just maybe, this treatment could actually work with the Lord's help! And it made us wonder just how many other kids with cancer this could help! Remember, this kind of chemo has never been used on children, so it's experimental with her. It's the same thing they would have done with her at St. Jude's, so they decided to keep her here at home where she can drive to OU Medical Center.

Morgan did have a little set-back though. The treatment made the pallattes in her blood way too low, which made it very thin and they couldn't get the count back up. So 2 weeks ago she had to have a blood transfusion. They said that if she had fallen and hit her head, she could have had an annurism. Then last week she got sick, mainly with a bad cold, but she wouldn't eat or drink and slept most of the time. Then she got an ear infection last Friday and was back at the doctor for the 3rd time that week. But she called me from the doctor's office (her mom wanted to cheer her up before she saw the doctor), and we talked and talked and giggled and laughed, and after she got her medicine, she felt sooooooo much better! I called her that evening and, again, we played hide n seek over the phone long distance. We were laughing so hard I even got her to "snort" like I do! lol Anyway, she goes for one more treatment I think this Wednesday, and then we'll see what the next MRI will show.

Again, I want to thank everyone everywhere who is praying for Morgan! She is just a precious child! Her blindness doesn't even bother her. She deals with it so well, better than any adult could. And she is so happy (most of the time, hehe). With God's healing hand, may His will be done!

Dear Friends,

Please pray for Kimberly Saunders. Kimberly is 16 years old and in China with her parents - her father works for an oil company. Yesterday she had a seizure possibly caused by a small brain tumor. The seizure caused her to stop breathing for a short time.

As long as Kimberly is sedated and unconscious she is okay but when she wakes up she begins have a seizure again. The did fax the MRI to Houston but the doctors did not have much hope.

They are considering moving Kimberly to a hospital in Singapore. Please pray for Kimberly and her parents. She is the great granddaughter of the pianist at our church.
