This afternoon I heard from Linda. She said the prayers are working. She had received a call from Morgan this morning at the motel where they are staying. She was having lots of fun and seemed to be her normal self. They visited for awhile and then Morgan started having headaches again. So they left so she could rest awhile. They were on their way back to the hospital and planned on having her a birthday party this evening. Please continue to pray for this young child and her family. I can't even imagine what they are going through. Chris pointed out to me that her birthday is on Mother's Day this year. It will be very hard on her mom no matter. Chris found braille cards at a Hallmark store and has already mailed his. I haven't had as much luck but we will be going to a larger town on Monday and I hope to find her something there. I tried to call you and Steven on both of the phone lines you gave me quite awhile back so I could talk to you, but there was no answer. Tuesday nite when I talked to Morgan on the phone, I got to hear her say "Okay, bye, I LOVE YOU!" And the very next morning, Angela found her in her own vomit, etc. and had to run her to the ER. They found a large cyst around her tumor as large as her brain. It was protein fluid. The put her in ICU and drained the fluid. She was pretty unresponsive, but would squeeze our fingers to let us know when she needed something so she was hearing us. Yesterday, the doctor met with her mom and dad and broke the news. They said that there's nothing more that they can do for her. The cyst will continue to fill up with fluids until it puts too much pressure on her brain stem and will kill her. Me and Al stayed with Morgan alone for about an hour while the family was being counseled. That was one of the hardest things I had to do - keep telling her princess stories and talk happy about her vacation and Disneyland all the while knowing that they were receiving very bad news. Then they came back in the room and the chaplain took us out and talked to us. They are going to make her as comfortable as possible. They took the draining tube out of her head last night, and then this afternoon they unhooked from all other machines and moved her out of ICU and to another floor. She's in a regular room now with a LOT of family around. OU Childrens Hospital, Morgan Thompson.

Late last night around 2:30 a.m., she came right out and told Al "I love you PaPa" just as clear as day. They took her off the morphine and and just giving her regular pain meds now. They first said she might have up to 2 weeks, but we have no idea. So basically, she'll never leave the hospital. We just hold her hands, talk to her, play music for her, sing Christian songs with her and pray. We are staying in a motel about 3 blocks away and this is the first computer I've seen since we've been here. My firm owns a house that my senator boss stays in while he's in session at the Capitol, and he called me yesterday and offered it to us and any of our family that may want to stay there for free. So we may do that next week. I'm sorry I haven't been able to communicate. I've been a wreck. When they called us from the hospital Wed. afternoon, my bosses told me just to GO and we went home and packed and have been in ICU since.

Of course, our hearts are breaking. So many people from the church have been here and the president and founder of the Okla. Brain Tumor Foundation talked to me last night - I have a call in to her to see if she can arrange a birthday party for Morgan this weekend up here in her room. Al's trying to get Wal-Mart to do that also. Al's other daughter, Amy, is on her way up. She lives here in OKC. My sister lives down here too and she was with me when we got the news. I just ask that E1 continue to pray for Morgan and the whole family. This is the hardest thing we've ever been through.

Please pray for me. I have to have a medical procedure done...need a place to live...and clients for my business. I am following a calling from God and need money to survive and do this sacred work. Please pray for Marilese Terblanche. She has been in rehab now for a month and longs to come home. Please pray that the homesickness will pass completely and that she will want to stay in Pietermaritzburg. Pray also that the idea to come home in June and get her car will pass. Please pray that she will put the idea out of her head as the car will be a bad idea because then she can get drugs again. Please pray that Denise and the other people at the Rehab will help to get the idea out of her head. Pray that Marilese will find happiness and love in her life again and that she will soon start working. Pray that she will be very happy with her work. Pray also for her weight and skin problems. She is also trying to get her drivers licence now. Pray that she will pass her drivers licence in June but that she won't want to have to car. Pray also that she won't have any withdrawal when the doctor's take away the Rivotril. Pray that she will feel wonderful and will continue to sleep at night without sleeping pills. Please pray that Herman's business proposal will be accepted and that he will be able to start with the business very soon. On Monday the Plant Manager have a meeting with the Director to discuss the opportunity. Please pray that the Lord will bless this meeting and that Herman will get the business. Pray also pray that the person who wants to ruin Herman's opportunity because of jealousy will see that this is the only option and that Herman is going to save the company a lot of money. Please pray for the business where I am working as Manager. Business is very poor and we need a financial miracle. Please dear God send us new clients and existing clients.
